We started with just 1 club in Chennai in 2004, but currently we have 90 plus clubs in Tamil Nadu and 500 plus clubs in India and Sri Lanka. Our average membership used to be around 40 Years, but in the last 3 years, our average membership has changed to 27+ , with more Students and IT Professionals. We currently have clubs in almost all large IT Corporates in Chennai, including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, L&T, Amazon, Ford, Shell, Nokia, Nokia Siemens, CAT, CSS Corp, CSC, Virtusa, Verizon, Aon Hewitt, DOW Chemicals, Pay Pal and many more.

SPEECH CRAFT

Speech craft is an extended workshop on communication and leadership where the participants learn about various aspects of communication and leadership. They are supported by a team of domain experts & industry stalwarts who mentor the participants.The program is ably organized and coordinated by a program coordinator.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (YLP)

A local Toastmasters club serves as sponsor and provides a coordinator to present the program. The individual coordinator attends each meeting, where he or she will lead most of the presentations and counsel participants. The coordinator assigns an assistant who can fill in for the coordinator should he or she be unable to attend a meeting.

Toastmasters began in 1924 when a group of men assembled in a YMCA basement in Santa Ana, California under the leadership of Dr. Ralph C. Smedley. They formed a club to practice and train in the art of public speaking, presiding over meetings, and promote sociability and good fellowship among its members. The group took the name Toastmasters. Toastmasters became Toastmasters International, a nonprofit organization which offers its members the opportunity to develop communication.
